The International Experience Canada program (IEC) is now open for the 2023 season. This program is open to nearly 90,000 youth from 36 countries around the world, who can now apply to travel to and work in Canada. This is an incredible opportunity for individuals from around the globe to experience the beauty and cultural diversity of our great country.
The IEC program is open to citizens of the following countries: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Chile, Costa Rica, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Latvia, Lithuania, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Ukraine, the United Kingdom and the United States.
The IEC program offers three different types of work permits: the Working Holiday, Young Professionals, and International Co-op. The Working Holiday permit permits will allow participants to work in Canada for up to 12 months. The Young Professionals permit permits will allow participants to work in Canada for up to 18 months.
